A few words about photo paper.
Unless you need to use specialty media (such as canvas/photorags/premounts),
it's generally a good idea to use inkjet photo paper made by the manufacturer
of your printer (with genuine ink, of course). This is because the manufacturer
of your printer has optimized their ink to their own paper.
It is also
crucial to use the correct ICC profiles provided by the printer or paper manufacturer. Most ICC profiles can be found on their manufacturers'
websites (see links below).
Select vendors also sell custom ICC profiles for various printers and specialty papers. |
